Formerly known as Britannia Airways but rebranded as Thomsonfly in 2002 the airline will be rebranded to the TUI name by 2008.

Thomsonfly is the low fares airline of Thomson Holidays, itself part of TUI, the largest tourism and travel services group in the world, based in Germany.

Thomsonfly has a fleet of 47 aircraft, Boeing 737, 757, 767 and carries over 8 million passengers per year.
