XL Airways

XL Airways started life in 1998 as Sabre Airways, taking the name Excel Airways in 2000, then rebranded to XL.com in 2004.

The airline merged with its sister airline Air Atlanta Europe in 2006 and also renamed itself XL Airways.

The airline now has a fleet of 41 aircraft made up of Boeing 737, 747, 757, 767 and Airbus 320, 330.
